Hi to all our new posters! Just come in here and chill, and mind the custard pies strewn around here. They will come in handy for later.

Figured I'd just drop by and say hi.
Also, I have been reading the fictions y'all have been working on and have been enjoying them. Let me know if you need any info regarding Kousuda, such as his sheet or how he felt about certain characters!

Thanks, there has been a lot of Kousuda. Mostly as overprotective dad.

I'd be interested in his thoughts about Karasu, Michio, Yamada, and Yamase, though for what is left for him in our story, I think if you think he might have thoughts about the people who have shown up, that'd be all we'd need. We're leaving Second City fairly soon.

Heh, well protective father would probably be pretty accurate. Let's see... These impressions are mostly going to be from Kousuda's perspective after the events of WC5. Karasu: He's great. Respects him and his accomplishments and his station, but regards him more like a brother/bff, rather than a cousin. Also loves that he's into the gaijin pepper. Michio: Their interactions were few, but cordial and friendly. Kousuda taught him how to use a sling he was gifted, and Michio was an extremely quick study, which impressed Kousuda quite a bit. So did his willingness to use a weapon that most would consider to be for peasants. He seemed quite a serious fellow. Yamada: Ahhh... Yamada, Yamada, Yamada... Kousuda's feelings are mixed. On one hand, he appreciates her more traditional outlook, her resolve, and the restraint she made him exercise. On the flip side, he really disliked the restraint she made him exercise!! He also somewhat resented that she, a bushi, was delegation head at court, which caused some frustration, especially in regards to speaking in court. They disagreed on more than a few things, and he felt that due to her authority, he would have to defer to her before speaking in court, which really limited his ability to word-spar. The duel was quite a bitter pill, with Kousuda telling her that her hubby making the cuts was best for everyone. Looking back at the Mantis debacle, Kousuda is thankful that she made him avoid pursuing it, though I was really trying to play up Kousuda's somewhat reckless nature there. I had even considered, for at least a few moments, what would have happened if Kousuda had gone ronin and pursued the challenge anyways!! Would have been really stupid, but would have made great drama. Yamase: Like Michio, they had few interactions. I think Yamada and Hiroshige interacted with her most from the Unicorn. He had the impression that she was quite competent, and was impressed she was as successful as she was in the poetry competition. She was also an apt negotiator when Kousuda was arranging a Unicorn-Crab-Zogeku deal. As for other characters... Waito Midori: He thinks highly of the pirate. They were good drinking buddies, and Kousuda was quite touched this Mantis trusted him so much. He gifted the Unicorn his most prized possession, a ship in a bottle, in exchange for not but his impression of Arashi and if he felt like he would be good for the future of his clan. Would always be down to drink with this guy. And it's late and there's a looot of text! Let me know if you want more Kousuda character impressions!

Thanks! We may have been a little off in our Pirate impression, but that could have changed over the years.
