OK...OOC huddle. Just thought I'd walk you through my thinking so I can have someone smack me on the back of the head if I'm being stupid. Various stuff. 1) The Phoenix have said they can't help us any more beyond this because the situation with the Scorpion has gotten too bad. 2) I asked for time to do the investigation, but we can't be 'normally' dropped off and picked up again because the situation will be too messy in a few days. I thought maybe the Warren could pick us up under stealth and I think that the Scorpion are going to be being the guards from what they said, but we may need another way to get off world. I need to talk to Kiru. 3) I asked for the astronomer to decrypt Nanashi's clue and the world where the 'paperwork' can be found clue. It looks like they may have a seppun...I'm not sure what gift he might want though.
It's late and I'm tired and getting confused and I feel like I'm monopolizing everything because I think I'm the only person in the room who speaks flower, I guess. But my brain is getting tapped out and I can use some other ideas. I may be getting everything wrong at this point and I have no idea what anyone is talking about.

Seems spot on to me. Nezumi can't really grasp the concept of flower language, because it attributes meaning to objects which Nameseekers like Kiru can glean the exact true meaning of, so metaphor and allusion can't be comprehended by them. Hence Kiru didn't think to pull up a flower-sniffing Asako memory.
The Warren should be able to pick them up okay, things will just get intense lol. But that's fine and fun and dandy...assuming we still have a pilot after this duel to fly the ship lol.
Anyone have any thoughts or issues we need to cover?
I've decided I'm not going to worry about the gift so much, just like Kiru. If this story is true, the Seppun will understand their genuine need and not be willing to risk failure again.

You don't necessarily need to leave the world via the Warren is my only comment. Sneaking the Warren back to the planet in a way the Scorpion don't know whose on it is the Phoenix suggestion, because it keeps everything in a small area, but always remember you are dealing with a planet that has zero farmland essentially, and certainly no other resources. Maybe a few vertical rice farm towers exist, but any wood, metal, gemstone, or other base resource the cities vast manufacturing facilities, trade markets, and specialist artisans buy, sell and use must be brought in.
In addition their is always ships bringing Ronin, Heinin and Eta into the Underhive as people seek the supposed easy life/vast wealth/criminal freedom/chance to become something more/otherstuff that big cities like this tend to attract. And other ships taking people away when they realize what being in the Underhive actually is like.
Most of the Great Clans have 3 flights a day off world as well. Some clans like the Dragon would favor other trade worlds that aren't so much criminal scumholes underneath the surface, specifically the Mantis and Crab trade hubs (Unicorn aren't exactly the type to build a city that can consume a world....they trade at other Ecumenopolises, and the Crane would never build a city that had no garden's parks or nature reserves.) but still. And the Major monk orders likely also have frequent flights set up to this world by the richest Bonge merchants, who consider it an act of charity. Transport the Monks, get free Khama. The Monks on the other hand....well a world like this brings both plenty of people who seek faith to escape, and otherwise their is a lot of people who need your guidance/healing/protection. So plenty of Monks come and go from here as well.
And thats just discussing the legal stuff. Smugglers, and other such means are also an option for you.
Your options to get off world are near infinite. Just keep that in mind, in case shit goes south.

I understand. I think I primarily went with 'pickup by the Warren' because I know how much Kiru would love to do it. Sneaking in and out on a scorpions world? Oh yeah.

And now it gets tough....good luck. I hope some of us eventually get a clue as to what we're doing.

Reminders for the probe:
The probe is poorly built, and its likely very easy to break into. Its also covered in what appear to be tiny carvings of what appear to be Samurai. On the steel coating they stood out as each one was a red-brown color that looks like blood. The samurai are covered in glyphs which have been damaged, but generally seemed to be of the kanji 'Lotus'.
The baseline code of the probe is clearly a Great Clan code, probably one available on the commercial market. Which clan in particular was harder to tell...probably not the Dragon though, given his knowledge of their coding language.
The code above it, designed to run the actual probe, that however was many things.
It was bad code. Random and inconsistent tagging and use of Named Parameter, sections of code that did literally nothing, or clearly were designed for different hardware. There a Fax Machine....here a piece of Industrial coding, and over their looked like some code written by a Hiemin for harvesting rice. And worst of all, once he thought he had found the actual useful information he found it changed programming language 3 times in the code...which was impossible unless over two thirds of the code was fake.
And one of the coding languages seemed to be composed entirely of orangutan noises.
It even had a section that defined tags as other Named Parameter....that was scattered in the previous code at random. The probes were probably easy to break not due to weak hardware, but due to the fact its being pushed to the limit doing stupid, pointless and redundant stuff.
However it did have a user interface and after a bit of wrangling with the probe, Nanashi manages to bring it up. The screen is unstable, the probe seeming having popups built into it intentionally, (That amazingly work...the probe is clearly connected to the Internet in its active state) but as he clears the screen and once again closed (For the fourth time) a window advertising 'Kachiko's Kinky Kemari,' he uncovered what its purpose was.
It was almost sad. Under all that mess was a simple program. Record Sounds, identity Mons, and transmit recorded data to command.
Where command was....well their was 10 different references to it in the original code he looked into initially. And at least two different times here he saw 'Central Command' defined as some other Named Parameter....
He could certainly get through this, he got this far. But the question is....does Nanashi want to keep going into the depth of coding hell.
The popup for Kachiko's Kinky Kemari wasn't just a popup. It was a live connection. He honestly knew that that as it always tried to stream an webcam stream of the 'kinky kemari' before he closed the window. But after catting through all the code it wasn't a one way link. Just as the probe was being sent the data for the ad, the probe was sending data back.

Shin-nashi, expect a GM post in around 4 hours, depending on if I get cover classes today, sozz. Don't have enough time before work today to post for you.
Tetsuko, as for us, we are waiting on Emerald, who alas is unwell (...two days before our flight to Japan...)

Lacking a better idea, I think we're stuck watching this match, and then maybe bribing our way into a tour. We basically need to find the receiver for the data from the probes. That and any clues about who is running this place. But both my plans that I've come up with so far have been foiled by crappy rolls. I'd hoped Nanashi would be able to get something from the computer. As an alternate, I thought maybe we could free the body servant and get some information out of him. But now I can't think of anything except paying and maybe requesting a tour when this match is over.
If someone has other ideas, I'll listen. I'm good for plans usually, but dice luck is hating on us a bit, or maybe my plans are just really bad.

As the GM of your story, I need to refrain from spitballing, I think, or some might think it as leading. I will nudge Emerald to spitball here though...

I am sorry for the bad rolls. I’ve spent 2 of my 3 Void points and the dice gods have not appreciated my offer.

So we have a short circuiting Android prince who can’t climb. We are kidnapping a sex slave who could literally turn on us at any moment. And I have non leathal ammo in my guns.
Let the muppet arm waving commence.

Maybe capable, maybe not competent. <sigh> But I don't think Lemon is a sex slave. I /wanted/ to rescue the sex slave but my rolls were so incompetent, I couldn't find him during the time I had available. <sigh again> He will have to leave another in the hands of this rotten degenerate universe. But Lemon is just the waiter, I think.
