"Asako Honoko-sama awaits us, I believe," Shiba Itsuki quietly reminds the group, before making his way out the door first to locate The Warren's captain, who is sneezing near the daffodil display.
"Ready to go-go?" Kiru asks, wiping his nose with a neat cloth before placing it back in his pocket.
"Hai, Senchou," Itsuki replies. "The sooner we arrive at our appointment, the better. I am concerned about the tidings the Hida brought with her to this system."
They nod at each other and wait for the others so that everyone can proceed to their destination.

For just that one split second, you could hear a pin drop. Tetsuko takes the clothing from Shinwa that the Shiba and Doji had retreived while the ronin stands frozen. Once the door closes behind her, Shinwa, his on still well composed, says one word.
"Statuesque."
He hurries to get the bags and large box he retrieved to manage the Hida's laundry. When she leaves the room, he hurries in and packs everything up, carefully washing his hands with soap, salt, and water, when he is done. He follows the others out, carrying the box with him.

Tetsuko follows the others, if they stare at the love hearts and rainbows on her kimono the glare she gives them makes them look away quickly.

Just as Tetsuko is coming out in the Rainbow yukata Nanashi let's put a Wolf whistle and "nice".
He gets some odd looks from some of the others. For once, Nanashi takes notice of the silence.
"What? I got a gold card. I've been waiting for this one for a month."
Nanashi will busy himself with his game until it's time to leave.

They left the room and went down in the lift, the ride down better than the ride up as it didn't have a stinky Hida.

Shinwa shoves the box containing the Hida's armor into Nanashi's hands. "Domo arigatou, Mirumoto-sama." With that, he's off down the stairs to meet everyone at the bottom.
Maybe claustrophobia.
He follows the crew to see the Inquisitor.

The Shiba leads the odd group of Samurai and Nezumi out of the Hotel and to a large speeder, "The Library where Asako-sama is waiting is quite some distance from here, just outside the city. Walking this distance is somewhat impractical so transportation has been arranged."
As the group approached the transport, its repulserlifts began to flicker, as if something was interfering with the electronics that powered them. Most people would have barely noticed but the Shiba had a keen eye and pausing Mid step, he called the Heimin driver over to check on the vehicle, "A precaution only Minna-sama. I assure you, no further delays will occur before you meet Asako-sama."
When the inspection reveals no explanation for the vehicle's interference, Dong-Geun leads the Samurai on board, calmly assuring the everyone that such interence, while rare, was not dangerous and would not interfere with there trip. He was simply trying to ensure the comfort of the guests of the Phoenix.
The Speeder quickly moved down the street, small gardens and buildings flying by. It quickly becomes clear that the Asako for the most part stick to low lying buildings, allowing gardens, shrines and Libraries to be the dominate features of this city. And yet, as they approach the edge of the city, the Shadow of Fukurokujin was no where to be seen.
The edge of the city was enclosed in a wall, leading to a very defined edge, and once they had cleared the city they entered a dry and rocky landscape dominated by reds and grays. Nothing seems to be out here except hills, rocks and some tough shrubs, vastly different from the beautiful green and blue Oyo's Final Rest that dominates the sky above. The speeder makes it way to a collection of hills that form a small box canyon. As they entered the Canyon, a far more modern building then most seen thus far began to appear, hidden as it was made from the stone of the hills that surrounded it. Every surface of this building was covered in Warding and as they got closer, small fragments of Jade in the wood became visible.
The speeder stopped right next to the Shield Generator, and the Shiba slowly got out of the Speeder, bowing to the guards that approached the Speeder as soon as it stopped.
Every other Library in the city was designed to share knowledge, to inspire creative thinking, and to advance humanity as a whole. This Library was the opposite... it was a place to store stuff the Empire may need one day, but could not be shared with the public. It was placed to avoid drawing attention, it was defended as if it was a military installation, its doors were sealed instead of wide open, and the all the windows in the building clearly had some sort of radiant barrier covering them.
Still the Phoenix Architect who had designed the building had clearly put effort into trying to find ways to make this building at least be somewhat aesthetically pleasing. It wasn't a pretty building....but it avoided ugly.

During the slight amount of trouble with the speeder and the trip over to the library, Shinwa attempts to stay low key and blend into the background. After the heimen has had to get out to look at the repulsorlifts, he offers to take the box of armor back from Nanashi, but does not insist. During the ride, he watches the city turn from green to gray in silence, a quiet frown on his face. He follows the lead of Shiba as they depart the vehicle.
When he reached the door, and the heavy security, the next step was obvious and could not be challenged. Not under this level of security.
I wonder if they even remember what they're supposed to do with it.
As bid, he removes the gleaming steel katana from his obi and offers it up to be polished. "Totsuzen stands in service," he offers as he gives his weapon up...very temporarily.

At the sight of the Speeder Nanashi's brow furrowed.
He leans in and whispers to Shinwa, "If I had known we were going to travel I would Have brought Kiba."
Nanashi sidles onto the transport and seems to grumble the whole ride about propulsion manifolds and structural designs.
He finaly turns on his music to distract himself.
The gardens are lost on him but the barren rocky terrain seems to settle him down and he even turns off his music to enjoy the surroundings.
Nanashi follows Shinwa in handing over his Daisho but with much less formality.

Shinwa can only offer Nanashi a small shrug about Kiba and the transport. There's nothing to say.

Kiru spends the ride in silence also, sitting low in his seat so that there is more shelter from the wind and Rik has a better chance of catching up on sleep before they arrive at their destination. When they do, and Kiru notices Shinwa and Nanashi handing over their weapons, he audibly sighs and holds out his sidearm for collection.
Shiba Itsuki likewise spends the ride in silence, made even more prominent by the fact that he was kind enough to allow the others to take their preferred seat when they boarded the speeder, leaving him with the only spare seat to buckle into—the one adjacent to Shiba Dong-Geun. As he sits down and straps himself in, he apologises under his breath.

The Shiba take the weapons with a bow, promising to see each weapon cleaned as its handed over to them. There is a tiny and brief look of surprise from the guards and Dong-Geun as Shinwa's weapon is handed over and instead of the normal reply, the Shiba guard said, "We shall watch over your ancestor's blade, Samurai-san and see it properly cleaned." The bow remains the same as the others got, but a look of respect makes it onto the Shiba's face.
Once all the weapons are handed over, the door seems to open on its own and Dong-Geun leads them into the Library. It is a bright building, and although their is a large section devoted to computers, the shelves, each gated off and requiring separate permission to enter, we lined with a mixture of modern data sticks, scrolls, books and various other ancient ways to record information. The building lacked Heimin of any discription and only a few Asako Librarians were working on maintaining the Libaray. Instead most of the people inside the building were Inquisitors, usually sticking to computers although one or two was carefully looking over the shelves.
Asako Honoka's desk was easy to recognize. A datapad was off to the side, and she her table was unique. Carved with wards, and glowing a faint green it was seemingly divided into sections, each one containing a book or scrolls she was referring too. As they approached, she placed the book she had been reading in one section of the table, before seeming whispered something and adjusted a something on her wrist. The table's green pattern shifted and then she moved to a scroll, picking it up and beginning to read from it. Her hands were gloved, and she handled this new scroll as if it was a sacred artifact, reading it carefully and putting it down again, before entering something into her datapad.
Despite having more then three times the books, scrolls and other such sources of information on her table then anyone else, she seemed to know exactly what she was looking for, and repeated the process again before Dong-Geun approached and bowed. There was a long silence as Honoka continued with her work and then a brief flicker appeared beside her right ear and she looked up, looking surprised, "My apologizes if you waited long, Shiba-san. Kaiu Megumi remains an interesting read due to her almost unique perspective on the forces of the Jealous Realm. As she lived in a time when the Jealous Realm was quiet due to Iweko the First's deal, her work instead covers the nature of independent actions by the forces of darkness, without the guiding hand of their master. Hopefully the Aliens we face now fall into this category rather then being completely controlled by the Jealous Realm."
Realizing their was more people gathered, she blinks twice and looks to her datapad, clearly checking the time. Only barely covering her surprise Honoka adjusts the device on her wrist once more, sealing all the current scrolls and books inside the green field. She stands up and bows to the assembled group, "Konnichiwa Minna-san, Have you had Rice today?" A slight pause, as she looks over the group, her eyes pausing when she spots Tetsuko's part in this group. Still she moves on.
"On the chance you haven't properly been introduced, Hida-san this is M'thack-kir-san," She pronounces the name with surprising ease, "Nezumi captain of the Warren, and his companions, Shiba Itsuki-san, Mirumoto Nanashi-san and Shinwa-san. They have spent quite a bit of time exploring the Empire and a small amount of the space beyond it. This on the other hand is Doji Kaiden-san. Doji-san is quite a versatile courtier, and I am glad to have his aid."

Tetsuko makes a bow to the Asako, slightly more formal than one would expect of a Hida. Then regards the others. "It is due to your actions mina-san that I owe my life. This is a debt that will be honoured by myself and by my family." She then turns back to the Asako. "You no doubt wish to know of what happened in more detail. I will tell what I can, but this is limited by my own part in it."
