The Nōchirasu (or Nautilus) is a heavily modified cargo shuttle of Mantis make designed for short term excursions. It is decorated in the dekotora style with chrome and gaudy lights. On the left side of the ship is a large painting of Suitengu, while the right is illustrated with a mural of Isora. On the back door is a large stylized Tortoise mon. The front of the ship even features an air horn, completely useless for space travel but present nonetheless. When the horn is blown, it plays the first few bars of the Hantei-Man theme song. The cargo area is completely separate from the cab, and is only nominally pressurized during spaceflight. The only access to this space is through the large hatch on the back that folds down into a ramp to allow for easy loading and unloading. It is usually packed full of cardboard boxes advertising Rokugani-Made tm crockery of various types and styles. There is also a dolly cart for moving boxes and an airtight trunk of some kind that is locked via an analog lock/key mechanism. The cockpit or cab as Naosuko refers to it is almost as gaudily decorated as the outside of the ship. It features mini tatami mats and plush seats of a royal blue color with a gold trim. In the middle of the dashboard sits a little sun weathered bobblehead of Hantei-man, a popular children's superhero from the 3100s. The cab seats two but features a small space in the back for sleeping separated from the front by a curtain.
