Tetsuko set off through the station for home.
Kryden Hida Prime was built along lines of strength and pragmatism rather than aesthetics. They did not attempt to hide the steel that the formed the station or the buildings in it, or the electronics that made it livable. The shops, eating places, houses....even the tenshukaku itself, testaments to the strength and ingenuity of the Crab
She passed the training yard that stood in front of the tenshukaku—she and Nobu had spent many hours there—and headed to where the Crab kuge were housed.
Then she stopped outside a house, no more remarkable than any others in the street. But she knew the shapes, the lines so well she could trace them in her sleep.
She knocked gently on the door.

"Enter!" Came the reply.
On entering the house, Tetsuko instantly knew things were off. Given the drilling she had recieved from the Kuni and her mother's rank, more demands were possible. Likely even.
But instead she finds her Mother drinking Tea calmly at the table with a Kaiu. While Masako was clearly quite calm, the Kaiu's On was not quite so solid. It wasn't every day you found yourself stuck between your future wife and your future mother in law.
"Ahhh, Tetsuko. Its good to have you on board the station again. This is a pleasant surprise. I was just having Tea with my future son in law. It would be so nice if you could join us."
Ok...a Hida using Crane lanuage...this was clearly a trap.

Suddenly Tetsuko felt like she was a child again.
“Hello Oka-san, Kaiu-san,” she said.
She sat down at the table, looking across the table at Kirito. Well, whatever happened here, at least she wasn’t alone this time.

Masako poured Tetsuko some tea then settled back down, a large smile on her face, "Well isn't this nice. Betrothed both in the same room. Why if it wasn't for Tetsuko's mission I could get you Married right now."
"You are back for a duel, yes? Just how long will you be staying...." Suddenly the lights all turned Red as a Hostiles on Space station alert was issued.
Instantly switching to her roll in the command structure, she activated her coms and said, "Taisas, status report!"
The replies can equally fast.
"Central Clear!"
"Upper Clear!"
"Lower Clear!"
"Alarm Planetside"
"Voidside Clear"
"Planetside, I need your Gunso's Status at the sector yesturday."

Tetsuko instantly stood up, knocking over her teacup on the process. “We are under attack?”

Masako nods, "Not Jigoku though. Not code Jade or Black. To focused. Maybe a Clan?"
Of course the question of who is important. Due to tensions between the other clans and the Jigoku aliens, the Crabs position was about as secure as it had ever been.
The only logical choices were the Crane or the Minor Clan Alliance and neither would do a surprise attack like this.

Masako is silent, waiting for a reply from her Taisa. It didn't take long.
"All clear except the docks, Shireikan. Gunso Kaiu Hitoshi reports the Kuni attacked the Phoenix ship. The Nezumi reacted poorly. Probably a Jade strike. Only the Kuni is injured.
He is requesting your judgement."
Masako resisted the urge to sign, and glanced at the tea and then Tetsuko.
"You said something about a Nezumi Tetsuko? Do you think he will want further recompense?"
She pressed reply, "Tell him I am on my way. And tell him he better not have blown another hole in the docking bay roof."
Letting go of the coms, she walked towards the door, "Tetsuko? Does the Nezumi know how to Sumai?"

Tetsuko thought a moment. “I doubt he knows what sumai is,” she said. “Perhaps I should come with you, he at least knows who I am. Or...did.”

Masako nodded, "Its only been a few hours. He will still. know you. Hopefully it will help salvage this mess."
And worth that she led her daughter and future son in law to the hanger.
