Day 0: Before the game 'started'
Camera turns on with showing Biru’s face smiling, “Hey out there friends. I know its been awhile since I really took a minute to speak to all of you. And I’m sorry. Between the accident and the shows cancellation I’ve been a tad busy.” He waves his hand and the camera pans to a picture of a model of the Artisen’s Den, “What you are seeing here is a scale model of the Artisen’s Den. I’ve taken guardianship of her as she’ll be my new home while starting a family. And I’ve been granted full rights to continue as Biru the Science Samurai!”
The Camera pans back to him, “While I was recovering it seems my family realized that the old Science Samurai needed a better set of eyes to keep him safe. Granted most families hire a Yojimbo, mine found me a bride. That’s right I’ve settled down so to speak. I’ll be letting her control how much of our wedding she wants to share. But I’ll give you all a hint, she was a quest musician on a episode.” He winks at the camera, “And that’s all you can get for now! OH! Yes and letters, they were the best part of my original show and despite being flying between planets you can still send them in! The network has retained my friend Doji Yakushoku to accept the mail and digitize it. Or if you send it in digital form to simply forward it!”
He looks out a window and the camera follows his gaze looking out at the stars passing by, “There seems to be a near infinite amount of space out here. Reminding me of how small a part each of us of the whole universe we are. But as Samurai we already know that, we serve.” The camera slowly pans back to his smiling face, “The accident has left me with scars that will never heal, but I was told how many letters you all sent wishing me well. Between you all and my wife’s refusal to let me give up the kami have granted me a second chance, and I won’t squander it. So once a week Biru will be bringing you science again and more importantly answering your questions.”
He hops up backwards onto a counter and picks up a cup and takes a sip, “So until next time. Drink plenty of Dihydrogen Monoxide.” He takes another sip, “Or as its better known as water. And remember Science is just another way we interact with the kami. See you all next time.” The camera cuts off.
