Tetsuko woke up early, as normal. It took her a moment to remember where she was, what had happened and why she was on an unfamiliar ship. Memories flashes past. The Sanyochu...her mother...
She dressed in light loose clothing and went into the middle of the cargo bay. She started with some practice stretches and then into some katas, her large body moving with surprising speed and grace.

At some point during the kata, Tetsuko's commlink activates, interrupting her, "Hida-san," Shiba Itsuki's voice greets, "the captain has asked me to inform you we have arrived."

"Understood," said Tetsuko. She finished her katas and then changed into her body glove and ever they would face in this new planet, she wanted to be ready for it.

Not long after her kata begin, she is joined by the Ronin, Shinwa. His long hair is loose and wild, and he wears an indigo yakuta tied with a white obi. His feet are bare. And at his hip, his exquisite daisho.
He does not do more than barely acknowledge her practice, but stands well out of the way, and begins to perform his own morning kata.
His morning kata, unlike the Crabs, are performed at an extremely slow speed, to where it almost seems he is not moving at all as he moves his body through the excruciatingly precise and drawn-out form. He practices with steel drawn. His muscles almost tremble at the effort of maintaining the precise poses for so long. He goes through one such kata, very slowly, then a second, before Kiru notifies everyone that the ship has arrived.
Once he has done so, he moves a little quicker to loosen up his shoulders and goes to get dressed more appropriately.
