Kiru nods at Tetsuko. "Arigatou, but Hida should not go alone, and the Camel is being fitted for environmental shielding, so it is best to take that, too. The Camel holds four, so three should go in total, in case the fourth seat is needed."
He glances at Shinwa, asking an unspoken question.
Itsuki's voice can be heard through the console, having opened a channel from his room, "Senchou, do you need em too?"
Kiru squeaks under his breath, possibly a Mezumi swear word, and then smacks a button that allows him to reply. "No, sorry. Sleep-sleep, Itsuki."

"Your armor will undoubtedly be needed....or to handle manipulations that need to be done carefully. Kiba also seats two, if things get too narrow and Nanashi-san is willing to share. I do not know how she will venture on the ice, but we can get closer and find out. "
In answer to M'thack-ir's unspoken question, he can only shrug. Even if the Camel has failed under his hands before under difficult driving circumstances, it has always managed to recover itself quickly, with or without assistance. It is a terrible curse the ronin appears to be under, but it hasn't killed them yet. It might just end up being a time where brave bushi have to stand and fight for a few minutes until the vehicle recovers itself.
He settles into his seat and buckles his seat belt. As with most ships and just as it did with liftoff, the kami that draw all to the ground become very unstable, and the oni of planetary gravity exerts its will, on the voyage down. Shinwa hopes that no one had taken things out in the kitchen and failed to put them away again.

"I'm hesitant to go under the water. If there is something big down there the Warren will be at a severe disadvantage. I've also given he Camel a tune up. So nothing should breakdown for a bit. And I can put my Ice tiers on Kiba in no time."
At the talk of entering the planets atmosphere Nanashi turns a color that is difficult to describe with mout phrases like pea soup.
Nanashi rushes ungracefully out of the room before they begin their descent. He rushes to the dining area, flips down a seat. Grabs an O2 mempo and straps himself in tight.

Tetsuko applies the mempo on her helmet and goes back to the crew lounge with the others, pulling down a seat and strapping in.

For the record, M'thack-kir isn't moving The Warren anywhere without Ikoma Dorai posting the detachment of his fighter from The Warren.
*Waiting game*

(Nanashi doesn't do well with entering and leaving atmo or the flying part. He is fine if his feet are on the ground or if he is in space. It's the in between that gets him.)

After some time and a little bit of poking, Dorai detaches his fighter from the Warren, deciding to scout the system more just in case any of the other planets showed any noticeable change.
((OOC: Until the player returns it is going to be assumed he is doing just that, allowing the game to progress until he is free to return.))

(OOC; first day back at work, so a bit hectic...)
Kiru takes The Warren into the planet's atmosphere, intending to drop the investigative party off near the ice spires before returning to orbit the planet in double cloaking invisibility.

<referring OOC questions to here: thetabletopreview.proboards.com/thread/90/ooc-inquisitor-story>The gravity goes a little wonky as it shifts in a number of dramatic ker-thunks from adjusting for the weightlessness of space into lesser and then full planetary gravitational pull. A few fallen leaves and some dirt shakes free of the garden bed that makes up the bulk of the galley and go floating around the crew cabin until they are sucked up by the ventilation system to be ground up and recycled. The shifts in gravity isn't make every heavy object float free but there is certainly enough of a roller coaster effect that it's enough for Nanashi to turn the color of his armor. Shinwa, for his part, is impassive through the descent, focused on his goal, his eyes fixed on a point ahead as if he were deep in thought. Limited life signs. Ice. If it's safe, then there is nothing to fear, and it would be good to get the Doji experiencing more before the danger comes. And if there is danger here, if Kaiden can drive I can fight. He looked over at the Crane. If he is willing to go."I will drive if I have to, but it would be very helpful if Kaiden-sama were willing to take on that task," he says aloud. "Then I will be able to assist Hida-sama with...whatever else might need to be done."

"I will drive if I have to, but it would be very helpful if Kaiden-sama were willing to take on that task," he says aloud. "Then I will be able to assist Hida-sama with...whatever else might need to be done." Kaiden looks slightly nervous... "I'm usually the one who stands up the back with the microphone, but I could try. How hard could it be?"

Shinwa gives a small smile and a satisfied nod of respect to Doji Kaiden, before another gravity lurch ker-thunk's in.

The ship shudders slightly in the upper atmosphere as the wind hits it, and the hull begins to adjust to the temperature around it. The Air kami's greeting some call it. Others call it the fire kami's greeting as many ships tend to get quite hot at this point of re-entry.
To Nanashi the noises are the second worst part of the fear.
Then the craft hits the Troposhpere, and the wind catches it...its bumpy and the noises get louder, but due to calmish weather, the craft stays on course this time. Finally the ship touches down, and as the ships shut off, something interesting becomes apparent to all on board.
While the planet seems lifeless above the ice, its not quiet. The sounds of Ice cracking, ice rolling over ice, and ice scratching on ice become immediately noticeable as soon as the ship is powered down. While every sensor says the ices is over 200m thick, the nearest crack is over 1km a way and the ice sheet you landed on can easily support the weight of the craft, its not easy to hear those sounds coming from the ground.

Shinwa has his belt undone the second The Warren hits ground. He checks his duster for his sidearm and his daisho at his obi. "Excellent landing as always, Kiru-san. I would be most grateful for your guidance as we travel, and I am certain Nanashi-san would appreciate the Warren's data sent to Kiba so he can guide us."
He bows to Kiru, and then turns and bows to the still-green Nanashi. "I am going to unlock the Camel and bring her out and quickly show Doji-sama how to operate her. We will meet you behind the ship?"
He bows to Tetsuko and Kaiden. "Hida-sama, I would be honored if you would care to join me on the Camel. And Kaiden-sama, please allow me to show you the controls for this vehicle, that you may guide us on this, and perhaps future quests. Thank you."
With a whirl of his trenchcoat, he's off to go unlock the Camel from its moorings and lower the Cargo ramp of the portside cargo bay.

The screams that only Nanashi can hear are deafening. By the time they land he is sweating bullets.
After thouchdown he rips off his O2 mempo and rushes to his room without looking at anyone. A few minutes later he comes out. Ready for battle. Armor ready, duster in place. His twin radiant pistols in his dropleg holsters. Is qickload belt loaded with both regular and bad mags. The last thing he throws on is what appears to be a metal collar that latches into his armor.
The sounds of a Dragons roar fills the cabin. "Kiba, activate rough tiers." The tiers of the bike take on the appearance of a Dragons scale. The tiers can now dig into the ice and snow. It slows the bike slightly but keeps it from sliding like butter in a pan.
"Kiba, have we received the data?" "Affirmative." "Good. Shinwa, I'm ready. Can the Crane drive yet?"
