Yozhiko still eating her icecream returns a little after Kailen. Seeing that Biru is not yet here, she reached into her satchel and took her palmtop. "Greetings again, I hope that we all feel better after this brake." She said finally to those present as she took her seat.
Spotting Hajime's sixpack, she smiled at her friend and took one beer.

Sorry my dear I am on my way already. Just got lost talking to the ship. Did you know that, *message truncated due to filter: Sorry for Rambling dearest*
A few moments later he does show back up and bows deeply, "Ano. So sorry about that. Between the party and seeing a new ship I had forgotten about my medications." He moves to sit back down near Yozhiko, "So are we done with all the internal politics?"

Yozhiko smiled and casually ruffled her hand through Biru's hair.
"We did...Before our break I had started speaking about my idea. It was not received well. In any case and in the hope that we get this meeting over with, I suggest that I am given time to work my idea alongside Heiwa-san, who was the only one to express her disagreement, and proceed with the rest of the agenda." She replied, clearly addressing the whole group.
"During the break I have already asked from Kailen-san to coordinate with my yojimbo in matters of physical security and produce SOPs for both our ships. Given your earlier words I assume Tamiyo-san that you might be interested to join them. We have also agreed to merge our combat sim software in the hopes of offering a better training regiment to all members of our team. Me and Hajime-san still have to update you on the results of our study earlier. Then the issues that I feel that we should deal with is computer security, the list of planets that we will ask from the Dragon Champion to arrange for us to visit and a game plan for our visit to the Sparrow. Clearly some of these issues can be discussed in a later time. No presure not like the world is ending or something."

Miumi nods a bit gruffly, pinching her glasses back on the bridge of her nose.
"The study in particular sounds of importance, potentially already today, potentially not, but we can hardly be complacent and be complacent on a potentiality. The visit to the Sparrow I can enlighten on a little after that regarding approach and the like, thought I suspect it will need to be niggled into the overall idea afterwards when we discuss this." She bows lightly.
"If we perhaps do that and settle on our next port of call (Bar any imprtant revelations at our current), we can always discuss further destinations on the way to said subsequent port of call. Now, of course, that is not to try and commandeer the discussion. I will merely concede that my knowledge of computers is very limited, and a discussion on such would be better done with those who have knowledge of it. I merely ask that the possibility of unsurveillanced communications are possible, should anyone wish to make private calls or browsings. How that would/could be done I profess ignorance in and will leave to those with knowledge thereof. I might very well be in error in suggesting to postpone this."
She nods, emptying her cup of tea and placing it meticulously on top of the small ring of moisture it had left on table.

"Well, I can certainly assist in security matters, both physical and electronic. But I suggest focusing on our meeting with the Sparrow.
I believe I already suggested a course of action. Do we need to add to this? Are you suggesting an alternate approach?"

Hajime looks around those gathered. Now that the leader was picked and the bickering finally stopped and she was properly alcoholized, it was was time to get to business.
She snaps her fingers to get everyone's attention. "Ok, girls..." she suddenly pauses. "...and Biru-san. I got some info to share before we get to planning and stuff. The Water Kami granted me a vision of the future, and it said..." and with that she describes exactly what she saw in her vision!
"I dunno what we're up against, but it's definitely worth keeping this in mind as we do our thing."

"To expand on this, I must add that my path is through corpses. I can not yet understand if I follow this thing, or it follows me but people die around me. During the next days I will be looking into the karma of all present and will inform each one in private, unless someone has objections."
Yozhiko added.
"If you can provide me with your astrological chart, it will be helpful."
She sipped from her beer and continued.
"Now about Hantei’s Garden. It is a beautiful world with a strong connection to Tengoku. It can be compared quite strongly to the Golden Sun Plain's, which is quite likely why that long dead Emperor put it under Sparrow protection as a Sacrosanct Planet. Millions of different plants are found on its surface, yet oddly enough the plant has no animals upon it. The plants breed and multiplied through unknown means, likely linked to Tengoku, and thus the garden continued to shift and change, year after year, each garden a perfect and unique creation, blessed by Tengoku's presence. From the limited surface exploration its known that all but the highest honoured Samurai feel uncomfortable on the world, as if they are being watched and judged, and the truely dishonourable have been known to describe a weight on their shoulders, as if they literally are carrying their Dharma and sins. Two years ago, a small area of the world was tainted through unknown means, and due to this Samurai were allowed to walk on the surface of the planet for the first time since it fell under Sparrow guardianship. The one square km area was purged of all life, all taint and all kami, purified and literally covered with Jade to try and make sure not a single tainted atom escaped. Since then a small collection of Crab, Phoenix, and Crane have been found on the world, trying to heal this spot and allow it to regrow, as well as trying as hard as they can to make the area grow plants in the same manner and guiding principal of the rest of the planet. As long as we get passed the Sparrow Champion I think we should contact my clanmates."
She paused, sipped again from her beer and continued.
"Now, the Sparrow continue honorable poverty, and literally built any satellite out of the spare parts and debris of other satellites. Their farmland was intentionally designed to mimic the Suzume Hills. They maintain a courtly presence, but it has decreased with the birth of the Dove clan, and the Sparrow really only handle Minor Clan Alliance talks with the Crane and Spider due to shared ancestry and history as well as a similar culture to the Crane. While most other Minor Clans are richer, the fact remains that making a large fleet of ships as a minor clan means a Great Clan is more likely to take you down a peg or two. However the Sparrow guard Hantei's Garden, and any suggestion that they should not maintain a fleet to protect such a world is a duel worthy offense. Likewise the political arrangements with the Spider and Crane connections give them access to Gyushi and Uesugi Engineers and their shipyards. As for its current Daimyo, Suzume Haurki was once a very happy individual, and a stunning story teller. Supposedly he once told a story to the Emperor himself. Those days are long past however. It was on his watch Hantei's Garden was tainted...and the Emperor has denied him Seppuku. He works hard to find out who caused this taint, and is quite likely willing to destroy his whole clan to make up for their failure if need be. That is all I have for this debriefing."
She paused again, took a sip from her beer bottle and continued.
"I agree with Tamiyo san's idea and as evident by my earlier words I was even more ambitious. If need be I will arrange to have pressure applied in order for us to get whatever clearance. I do not think there is anything meaningful to find here and I hope we get over this swiftly and start looking into more interesting stuff."

Tamiyo frowns as the two shugenja relate their visions.
"Huh, an old evil tied to a particular Clan? How odd." She waves it away. "We shall find out in due time I suppose. Anyhow, it seems to me we have an additional incentive should it be necessary. We can promise the Sparrow Daimyo to hunt down those responsible for marring Hantei's Garden. It is likely connected to our mission..."

"Do we know how Suzume Haruki-dono feels about the ideas of Togashi-dono? If he does not approve, promising too much might arouse suspicion, though I am in agreement with Tamiyo-sama," Miumi says. "Luckily, we have the referral from Togashi-dono to help us get on the ground."
She coughs a little. "If I may enlighten everyone on the arrival process briefly: It is designed to be as arduous and long-winded as possible. Before this tainted square appeared, arrival was completely unthinkable at all, and so the bureacratic and courtly vetting gone into the process and the documents needed is extreme."
She pauses. "I'm talking Otomo levels of bureacratic hindrance. And my clan is not always popular with the Otomo. Fortunately, the process is handled by the Sparrow, so between the referral, connections within the MCA and the gathered bureaucratic skills in this room, we are not lacking in the political capital to get down on the planet."
"The trouble is that arrival is only granted to help the planet heal, and designing our documents in such a way as obscuring the fact that we are searching for proof of a prophecy we are not supposed to be searching for, rather than actually directly helping the planet heal. I am confident I am able to design the document in such a way. It is a test of intelligence to avoid the traps in it, but I am capable of handling it."
"Most of us have plausible skill sets for being able to help in such a healing process in some way, so we just have to be careful not to give our actual purpose away on the surface. That said, I am confident Asahina-sama will know which of her clanmates we can contact without raising such a risk."

Nothing seems like an actual decision, but at this point the Silkworm navigator informs Kailen that they will be arriving within the next half hour. "Well," the Shinjo announces, "time to get ready and put everything in motion. We will be at the station in less than thirty minutes. I suggest that we get ready at this point."
"K4!" The droid beeps and various lights flash on it for some seconds. "Be a sweetheart and help our guests with their luggage, please." The droid beeps again and does exactly as ordered. "Is there anything else, Asahina sama? Samurai sans?" She looks towards Yozhiko and the rest.

Yozhiko thought about how bad this meeting went. She wanted so bad to say a lot of things, but she just shrugged in resignation.
"Personally I am not satisfied with this meeting or the preparation done for this forey. To me it is clear that most of us have yet to grasp what we are about to get into and even more some are in an endless self-promotion quest to cover their flaws. Yet here we are. I want to just inform all that in the sidelines of our visit to this space station, I will be having a private meeting during our time in the station and I would appreciate your respect to my privacy."
She took a last sip from her beer and returned the empty bottle on the table.

Biru smiles his studio grin, "Perhaps for now we remember we are working together and just go find out how this planet's troubles interact with our purpose. Tamiyo-san and I draw attention away from our overall visit's goals while the more astute track down this link. Seems simple enough."

"Indeed. It will likely not be, but we shall see, I suppose." Tamiyo shrugs and smiles another of her bright smiles, her gaze lingering with Hajime for just an instant. "We will be landing soon, so I suggest we transfer back to the Artisan's Den."
She rises and bows to the two Unicorn.
"Thank you for your hospitality."
