Dong-Geun nodded, and said, "If you are all ready, please follow me mina-sama. I have already sent a messenger to Asako Honoka-sama, and she will be expecting you in an hour's time." With that the Shiba begins to lead the group of people out of the Space Port.
Once clear of the Space port the city calms down quickly. The streets of the city are wide and gardens, both small and large are frequent as you make your way through the streets.
Passing a shrine to Jurojin, the odd fusion of new and old on this world becomes clear. The Shrine is large, ornate and detailed, but made out of traditional wood and other such materials. Yet on the very same block is a hospital, designed specifically to appear smaller then the shrine, that Jurojin's would watch over the sick and help heal them. But the Hospital, was quite modern. Beautiful in its own way, for the Asako understand that cold building do not help one heal, yet designed to efficiently heal the sick as possible, including a flat roof clearly designed for aircraft to land upon.
And then they rounded a corner and it was gone. Instead in front of them was a beautiful garden, if small filled with flowers of reds and golds and oranges and a single weeping tree in the middle. Across the small court was a multistory hotel, clearly where the Shiba was leading them. It was designed with the garden in mind it seemed, the base colours dull, only mirroring the bright colours of the flowers upon the roof, above the top of the tree.
The Shiba approaches reception and quickly gets a pass to a room to freshen up in.

Shinwa overhears what floor the room is on, gives Kiru a knowing nod, and says, "Looks like the elevator will be crowded. I'll meet you at the room."
With that, he takes off for a jaunt up the stairs, his long trench flapping behind him. It is good exercise for a bushi couped too long on a starship anyway.

Nanashi watches Shinwa go.
"You know, one day I'll understand him. But not today." Nanashi shrugged, walked over to the elevator and pressed the button.

"Shinwa's motive is simple, Nanashi," Kiru replies. "He doesn't wish to cause a scene."
He doesn't offer further explanation at this point, and his tone was quite casual, so even an amateur courtier could twist the words and meaning of what he has just said to suit their purposes.
Kiru, meanwhile, strides happily across the calm, welcoming lobby, straight to the elevators, seemingly unperturbed by being the only bipedal rodent in this respectable establishment.
Once the elevator party arrives at its intended floor, Kiru strolls over to the nearby stairwell and opens the door with a bow, just in time for Shinwa to exit it—it is almost as if Kiru had known exactly where Shinwa had been.

Eh, I don't get it.
"As you say, Captain." Nanashi follows with a bored relaxation. He watches as Kiru opens the door for Shinwa.
For not the first time Nanashi felt outside the group while knowing that any on the Warren would have his back. Well... maybe not the Shiba pilot.

Shiba Itsuki, for his part, is trying his best to be unobtrusive—nay, forgotten—by the other members of the party. It is clear he watches the other Shiba carefully, reacting to Dong-Geun's movements in such a way as to stay well away from him or his central field of vision. If Itsuki didn't have such a stern expression on his face, it might look like he is merely playing a children's game with his (distant?) relative, but it is obvious to anyone who takes the time to look at the shugenja that he is not comfortable.

Shinwa saunters out of the stairwell to Kiru's open door not winded at all. He gives a small bow of thanks to the Nezumi and joins everyone in the suite, making sure that the master bathroom and bedroom are the Hida's alone.
"Hida-sama...are you sure you do not want us to procure a fresh yakuta or something? I believe there was a gift storefront in the lobby....there were yakuta with the face of a...I believe a popular Lion...singer? on them. She seemed perhaps to be a singer. Not optimal, but they looked like they had something in your size...."

"That would be fine," Tetsuko said. She went into the bedroom and closed the door. She started to remove her armour, as she did so more of the smell became prevalent but she ignored it, examining it for damage. It was mostly superficial, but it would need to be cleaned. She let it on the bed and removed her body glove. The smell was even worse now, it probably could be smelled outside the door. It stuck in several places where grime had accumulated, where some cuts had healed. She left it on the bed next to her armour and went into the bathroom.
There was a shower stall and a bath, probably no time for the latter but it would have been nice. She sat on the shower stool and turned the shower on as hot as it would go. The bathroom filled with steam as she cleaned herself, moving the shower head with one hand and scrubbing with the other. Then she just held it above her head, enjoying the feeling of the scaling hot water on her skin.

Only seconds after the Hida has left the room, Kiru begins to shudder in disgust.
"Will return!" he screeches as he rushes to the door in haste. "Need fresh air!"
The door slams shut behind him as he escapes into the hotel corridor, sprinting over to a living ikebana arrangement of various daffodils on a stand.
Kiru leans over and shoves his nose directly into the arrangement, tears in his eyes.

Shinwa runs his hand through his hair now, as though weighing the cost of the clothing and running back down the stairs and back up again. His eyes fall on Shiba Dong-Guen. He turns to the magistrate and bows. "It would be wrong for me, as a lowly ronin, to displace the hospitality of the Phoenix in this matter. And yet it would be inappropriate and disrespectful for Hida-sama to be forced to remain in her current garb, such as it stands. I saw clothing of appropriate type in the lobby. Might I assist you by fetching some?"
He shoots a glance at Doji Kaiden. There is someone who might have a clue what size to get....

The Shiba offered a small smile to the Ronin, his On up until this point being totally unchanging, regardless of the interesting experience it had been to reach this hotel. "Thank you for asking, Samurai-san, your courtesy and compassion are a pleasent reminder that not all those who end up as Ronin do not loose themselves in the tossing of the waves that guides their life. Perhaps we can both go down and fetch Hida-san some clothing from below. Or if you would rather I can fetch the clothing and you can find a Heimin to properly care for Hida-san's current garments. Thus the hospitality of the Phoenix is not displaced, and yet your generous spirit is fulfilled."
And conveniently it would move him out of the room, both away from his clearly quite uncomfortable Itsuki and the strong smell coming from the outfit.

Nanashi takes a seat near and puts his feet up on the window sill. He pulls out a data pad and begins to play a card game. To be veryone else he looks like he is just ignoring everything but he is actually keeping an eye out the window.

As long as I don't have to pay....
"Of course, Shiba-sama. If you, and maybe Doji-sama, find something appropriate, I'll fetch a heimen and see if it can be washed quickly, or at least bundled up and sealed until later. I'm certain Hida-sama does not want to misplace the armor, after all."
Shinwa leaves others to go fetch an Ikoma Tamiyo special 'Rainbow Happiness' print kimono for the mighty Hida.
They should have a laundry around here somewhere...but first...to get the dirty clothes
He knocks on the door to the master bedroom, listening to the sound of the shower. "Hida-sama? Hida-sama? Would you prefer your clothing and armor boxed up or washed? We probably won't be able to arrange a ritual cleansing in time..." he glances over at Itsuki. "...Though I am not certain. But I can have it sent on once it is cleaned. Or it can be prepared for transport to be cared for by you in the way you wish.

Realising he is being referred to, Itsuki blinks rapidly as his manners are remembered. "This one would be grateful to be of service in such regard, although I have only performed the cleansing ritual for my brethren before, so it may prove inadequate for the needs of a Hida."
He bows and remains where he is, happy to acquiesce should his service be requested, but not wanting to intrude.
Despite there being no wind indoors, a soft breeze flicks Itsuki's hair back across his face, causing his silhouette to be even more striking in the light filtering from the window.

Tetsuko opened the door, her hair was wet and swept back from her face. She wore only a towel about her middle, several scars and tattoos could be seen on her chest and shoulders. "I think better to box it up, I don't want it damaged," she said shortly, she took the bundle from Shinwa. "Thank you for the clothing." Then closed the door. She unfolded the kimono. Ikoma Tamiyo's Raimbow Happiness. The pop singer wore a very dainty dress while riding a lion and casting rainbows from her fingertips. This was a surprise, she liked Tamiyo and had a lot of her music on the speakers inside her helmet. What would the others say if they knew this? Tetsuko didn't want to find out. She put on the kimono, tying the obi around her middle. It was just big enough. Then put on the geta sandals that came with it. She then left the bedroom, looking around at the poeple in the next room to see what was required of her next.
