The lone Doji walks along the promenade, calling out to random passers by, Sometimes targeting one in particular and shoving a leaflet into their hands. "You Sir! Have you had the pleasure of experiencing Crane Cruises? Book now and get two hundred and fifty koku on-board credit!" The passers by for the most part barely acknowledged the Crane, a small number wondering what he was doing here, but most quickly putting him out of their mind. The Inquisitors had already seen space...and would do so again. The moon was their escape, not some silly Crane Voyage. However after a while, his persistence paid off, and he drew the attention of a Loremaster. Both interested in the trip, and somewhat confused by the man's presence here, he approached and bowed, "Konichiwa Doji-San, I am Asako Bingwen." A small smile graced his lips, "And you have picked a very strange world to try and sell trips to space upon, if I may say so. The Asako Loremasters are often the Phoenix's chosen representatives in court, and the Inquisitors and Healers also have many reasons to travel the stars. May I inquire to your choice?"

"Thank you, but I will be fine," said Tetsuko. She wasn't comfortable removing her armour just yet until she was sure she was no longer under threat. Anything could still happen. That, and removing the armour after such a long stretch wearing it could be fairly messy and unpleasant, particularly with how they recycled waste.
When Shinwa left, Tetsuko splashed cold water on her face, she sighed and closed her eyes. It felt so good, she looked longingly at the shower. Not yet, perhaps when she got planetside, or was it a moon where they were going? She wasn't sure. She took the cup drank from the tap, that felt even better. She and another. It didn't taste that different from her barracks on the Sanyochu. What had happened? She only knew what she saw, and as the last survivor she would sure have explaining to do.
And she had to get word out that she was alive. Her brother Nobu, her parents...though all they would say it was time she came home.
Not yet, Tetsuko said to herself.
She tried her face on the towel, tried to finger comb her hair to make herself look presentable. Then left the washroom, following the voices around to where she thought the cockpit might be.

Nanashi comes down from the turret.
Well that was anticlimactic.
He takes his normal place in the cockpit. Leaning on the wall near the fire extinguisher.
He rolls his shoulder in an almost unconscious show of uncomfortableness.
Kakashi flys over to him and rolls over in mid air. Presenting his belly for a rub. Nanashi concedes absentmindedly.

"Intel transmitted to Chukan's Tomb, Senchou. We have been cleared to land; they didn't say it, but we should expect heavy Inquisitor presence when we arrive."
Kiru simply nods, seemingly nonplussed by this. He also turns and smiles at Nanashi when he joins them on the bridge.
"Senchou, aren't you worried about...the touch of the Jealous Realm? If they Jade Strike The Warren upon landing and it reacts..."
Kiru leans in to make strong eye contact with the Phoenix shugenja. "The Warren safe. Always. Trust M'thack-kir."
But a few minutes later, The Warren descends onto its designated landing pad, surrounded by Inquisitors on the ground as well as an escort of five fighters—the Asako take defending purity very seriously.
"Time to disembark," Kiru observes casually. "Meet our hosts. Kakashi, stay hidden, and stay with The Warren."
The Shiba Inu barks in grudging acknowledgment.

While Tetsuko is in the bathroom, Shinwa does some minor jobs around the cabin area. He brings a plate and a saltshaker from one of the metal cabinets and sets them on the table. He gathers a handful of fresh-picked fuzzy edamame pods, a handful of bright red strawberries, and some leaves of fresh mint for the plate. He sets the strawberries and mint on the plate while the edamame he throws into a pot he has filled with boiling water from the dispenser. One more minute in the boiling water, and he pours it out to set the lightly steamed edamame on the plate next to the mint and strawberries.
He then departs, leaving the plate for the Crab samurai when she emerges.
The ronin heads up to the bridge himself, but does not enter the open door. He finds a spot just outside it and settles in a seiza position at the entrance to the bridge. He seems to be listening to something.
Perhaps to what the Crab will do with her newfound freedom.

[OOC]That's what I get for taking a long time to post and not refreshing my screen halfway through.[/ooc]
It takes time for the landing procedures to complete, and Shinwa sits quietly through them all. Once they're finally landed and M'thack-ir stands, he stands also.
Hopefully, she's had some time to recover. The Phoenix forget hospitality rather aggressively when they're feeling suspicious. The last thing we need is an aggressive Crab and a bunch of aggressive Asako.

As the Nezumi proceeds to meet their hosts, the Phoenix relax a little. Not completely, but a little. The Nezumi's imunity to taint and their hatred for the jealous realm means that it is quite unlikely anything foul landed with them.
Still, some caution was advised.
The highest ranked Inquisitor stepped forward and looked over Kiru, trying to perceive any standout marking that would identify him. Either unable to do so, or having never seen Kiru before, she quickly gives up and bows, "Nezumi-san, welcome to Chukan's Tomb. Please forgive our cautious, but given the recent events we request to know exactly you found in the wreak as it entered orbit, permission to deal with any dangerous relic you found from it and help heal any of the survivors." Despite her somewhat calm words, their was tension in her voice, and its likely that if it wasn't for the alliance between the Phoenix and the Nezumi she would be a lot more direct.
If she asked at all.
At least 3 Shugenja on the landing pad were holding their spell scrolls, yet none had started praying quite yet. One was definately a trained healer based on the nature of her robes, and the collection of medicines she had as well as her spell scrolls.
"Once we have determined that the wreak up their and anything you have retrieved from it are safe, I promise we will proceed with regular procedure."

On hearing they we're getting my ready to dock, Nanashi leaves to prepare in his room.
Nanashi returns while the Phoenix was speaking. He adjusts his duster before placing his daisho on his back. The device built into his armor, under the duster, holding them on his back by an unseen force.
Nanashi makes no furtive movements and in fact looks as detached to the situation as he always does.

Kiru bows low. "Asako-Asako," he intones in his best Rokugani, "M'thack-kir is pleased to oblige all requests. The only survivor of the wreckage is aboard, a Crab Chuubushi. Claims forces of Hell were involved."
He gestures with an open paw for the shugenja to board the ship via the open cargo ramp, and makes no move to do so himself.

The tension returns, higher then it was before, and the Inquisitor narrowed her eyes before she asked, "The only survivor was a Chuubushi? No Shugenja of any sort were found alive?" There was no doubt in her voice, the question was almost rhetorical in nature, as she acted on the Nezumi's words even without confirmation.
She gestures to the Inquisitors surrounding the ship and Two Shiba and an Asako approach her, "Did she undergo the Trial of Jade when she came aboard? The power to move a ship like that is not one a Bushi should possess." Not even really waiting for an answer, she moves to the ship, believing that if the Nezumi had more to add, it would follow her.

Kiru has nothing else to add, for Kakashi did not inform him of anything else. He does not think it wise to wait outside while the senior Inquisitor possibly ransacks his home, however, so he follows silently, flanking her.

Shinwa is standing at the entrance between the cargo bay and the ship. He bows deeply, appropriate to his lowly station as a ronin, as the Inquisitor approaches, but his face is carefully neutral. He permits her to pass him deeper into the ship.

Tetsuko follows the others out of the cockpit, but passes the table with the strawberries. How long had it been since she had some? Surely it wouldn't hurt to try a few? They were good, they were very good, the perfect amount of sweetness and tartness. So much nicer than the hard rations she normally had.
She was still eating the strawberries when the Inquisitor arrived. She made a bow, one of the strawberries half-eaten in her hand. "This one is Hida Tetsuko, Inquisitor-Sama, daughter of Hida Takemu of the line of Hida Shihei, Gunso of the Teitetsu Platoon. Sole survivor, or so they say, of the Sanyochu"

The Inquisitors bowed in return, and the leader said, "Konnichiwa, Hida-san. Given the situation, I hope you understand that the Trial of Jade is necessary," and then immediately proceeded to cast Jade Strike upon the Hida. They could deal with her potential, albeit unlikely, offense latter should it come.
When the spell strikes the Hida and no sign of discomfort is shown by the her, the Inquisitor finally relaxes and gives a second bow to the Hida, "Thank you for your patience and understanding Hida-San. Welcome to Chukan's Tomb. I presume that you have a story to tell, given the state of the ship upon its arrival in the system."

Tetsuko didn't mind the Test of Jade, given what she had told them it seemed prudent. "I do indeed have a story, Inquisutor-Sama, if you have time to hear it," said Tetsuko. "Perhaps in a better place than this? I will also need to inform my daimyo of this tragedy." She looked at the Phoenix, they clearly noticed the foul smells come from her. "It also," she added, not afraid to be honest, "has been a little time since I washed."
