Got some really cool ideas about tech that I hope Emerald Dragon okay. Like the ability to break into ships from the outside in zero-g. That includes my armour being able to seal itself.

Can anyone think of a use for having a Mujina on board whatever ship/s we find ourselves travelling on, aside from annoying everybody like a poltergeist? I can think of character reasons to have one around, but not compelling enough to inflict that nuisance on everybody...

I will try to reply to any questions ASAP, however over the next 2 days I work 2, 8 hour shifts only 8 hours sleep apart...(once you include travel time, dinner, breakfast and the like and the like)
So my ability to function will be questionable till Tuesday.

Does GM glee count as a reason?

Mujina? Don't think I'm familiar with it. Incorporeal trickster spirit from Sakkaku. They know not to mess with Crab because the Kuni are the only Rokugani to have ever figured out how to trap their shadows and enslave them. We Nezumi just bind them to our will instead

As long as it stays out of my way... Yours, mine, and Shinwa's. We're the only ones who matter, right? xD Seriously this close to having it so everyone's aboard the 'Warren', my own ship, with monkey butlers a mujina sentry/boarding defense system. If we are being sent on a mission by an Emerald Magistrate and it's fairly hush-hush, nobody will expect the Spanish Inquisition us to be aboard a Phoenix-Nezumi vessel~

Do I detect a raised eyebrow of derision? I think that derision might be to complex an emotion for Nanashi.

I think that derision might be to complex an emotion for Nanashi. I think I should be concerned about that.

So this is going to be a longer post and has nothing to do with the game but I think it might be interesting for the nerds of the group. I know we have at least one.
I'm hopping to play a character that uses two pistols at the same time. It's a very common trope in a lot of action media. But have you ever wondered why, say, police don't carry two guns?
It's because shooting two guns at ones means you will realistically only hit your target, MAYBE, half the time. Humans are bioptic creatures. Meaning we use two eyes to determine distance. You shoot with both eyes open but proper form has you actually focusing on the front sight, that little bump at the end of the guns barrel. So for you to properly and accurately hit what your aiming at with two guns at the same time then you would need to stare at both front sights simultaneously. So unless your a gecko this isn't possible.
The other problem is this. Hold out both hands like you think you would shoot both guns at ones. I'm guessing they are about shoulder width apart. This means that if you shoot straight then you MAY hit the target in the shoulders. And that's if you get lucky. Your more likely to miss wide then hit. Now some may be thinking "why not fire one at a time?" If we are talking about something more advanced then flintlock pistols then you are much faster at shooting and reloading while maintaining accuracy by using only one.
I know that this is boring to most but I find it fascinating and wanted to share it. And trust me when I say that this double fisted Samurai will be blasting away the bad guys with the enthusiasm of a Shaw brothers film directed by Chow Yun-fat.

Go go samurai-action-hero! That is very interesting. Just please don't shoot me. Ranged weapons and I don't get along super well. Actually....lots of things and I don't get along really well. This could be a problem.
